Launching A New Product For GE
From coffeemakers and dishwashers to front load washers and dryers, I helped plan and launch a variety of new products for GE Appliances. Below, you’ll find the ecosystem I helped plan, manage and execute for GE’s Front Load Washer and Dryer system. As part of the launch, we needed to create large amounts of content to help tell the story of all the new features and points of difference for their new product. This included advertising, social, point of sale, A+ content for partner sites, an interactive laundry room experience on GE’s D2C site, videos, photography and more. It took a lot of planning to make sure we captured everything we needed in one shoot. See some of the elements below that helped make this launch one of the most successful washer/dryer launches in GE Appliances’ history.
Creating Interactive Experiences
In addition to the content and advertising, I worked with our CG/3D artist and my development lead to create ways for people to drop the new washer and dryer into their home and virtually experience our interactive laundry room. Both of these experiences helped drive higher engagement numbers and ultimately conversions that exceeded our benchmarks.
