A Big Cat Problem in Cincy.

Cincinnati had a cat problem that was hard to see. The number of cats being put down was on the rise due to overpopulation. The solution? We needed to let people know about Cincy’s big cat problem and encourage them to spay or neuter their cat to save feline lives and eliminate overpopulation. So we had an idea.

I came up with this simple, fun visual metaphor that helped communicate the problem in an eye-catching way. To illustrate Cincy’s “Big Cat Problem,” we photoshopped big, adorable, impossible-not-to-notice cats into some famous places all over the city to draw attention to the feline overpopulation problem. We then armed ourselves with some cats and some cameras and got to work. The campaign featured social, print, OOH and digital.
