Reorganizing an agency. Rebuilding its capabilities. Creating 3 new entities.

When I started as Scoppechio’s CCO in 2017, I was fortunate enough to get to lead the creative aspect of an agency transformation. I reorganized and reset the bar for the creative department of 60+ personnel, managed and grew our content production capabilities into a 10+ person team we made into a stand alone company called The 3, helped reshape the agency’s approach to digital marketing while leading the interactive team, helped lead and win 10+ creative pitches, and created award-winning work while receiving press in Adweek for the first time in the agency’s history.

I also had the opportunity to help reorganize Scoppechio into 3 separate agencies in 2020 as we evolved into The Ovare Group holding company. We kept Scoppechio as the general agency, started &Well, a healthcare and education agency, and started Ad Cucina, a restaurant agency. I oversaw all 3 entities as CCO and oversaw The 3 Productions as well until it was large enough to become a stand alone entity. The Coxswain Leadership Award

Every year, The CEO of the OvareGroup recognizes an individual or individuals across the network that exemplifies outstanding leadership, creativity and results. I was fortunate enough to receive this award. The recipient has their name etched into an oar that is displayed for a year at the company headquarters.

Some achievements I’m most proud to be a part of:

  • Helped lead and win 10+ new business wins

  • Work recognized multiple times in Adweek and many award shows for the first time in the agency’s history

  • Led the interactive team and grew its profits by 50%

  • Coxswain Leadership Award given by the CEO of the OvareGroup

  • Helped start and grow our in-house production company helping turn it into a 10+person team in less than two years.

  • Rebooted and refreshed the creative department, our digital work, and our content capabilities.

Building a whole new approach to content

When I arrived at Scoppechio in 2017, I took over the management of the production team as part of my CCO duties. Working with the CEO and producer, we saw an opportunity to build out a production team that would help make us more self-sufficient in regards to producing and executing our own work. In two years, we built a 10+ person production team to handle all shoots, edits, CG creation, animation and more for both our clients and others.

Evolving our healthcare work and capabilities.

I reorganized the creative department and established a creative healthcare team to focus on that vertical for the agency. Creating A Restaurant Agency

When I arrived, Scoppechio had a history of restaurant work, but it was mainly print and point of sale focused. I helped sell, modernize, and digitize our work to include more video, content, social, and more. See a sizzle of some of the work I led and executed as we grew our capabilities into what is now Ad Cucina, a restaurant agency.
