Building a new healthcare agency.
When I started as Scoppechio’s CCO in 2017, the agency had a good background in healthcare. And during my tenure as CCO, we grew our client base to the point that we decided to break it off into a healthcare agency named &well.
In addition to overseeing Scoppechio as CCO, and Ad Cucina, our restaurant agency, I also oversaw &well as CCO too. Below, you’ll see a sizzle of some of my favorite healthcare work that my team and I created through the years with Scoppechio and the &well team. Then check out more projects below that and some of the full campaigns here.
Baptist Health Cancer Campaign
One of my favorite healthcare campaigns I’ve created is this campaign for Baptist Health’s cancer care. We needed to let people that they didn’t have to travel to the Cleveland Clinic or across the country to get award-winning cancer care. The concept here used transitions to show that when great cancer care is close by, your family can be close by too. The campaign won numerous awards and greatly increased awareness and patient counts during its run. The campaign featured TV, digital, print, OOH and more.
Splat Out Cancer
One of my favorite campaigns, this one-of-a-kind project focused on letting people take out their frustrations on cancer by launching paint-filled balloons at the word cancer in a variety of ways. We created a cancer cannon, made slingshots, and used drones to drop balloons to splat out cancer. The initiative raised over $250K for the Baptist Health Foundation. Check out this case study video to learn more then see a snapshot of some of the work below.
Galen College of Nursing
Most nursing schools speak to their great classes and teachers and the quick paths to getting a degree. While we also helped Galen tell this part of their story, we saw a chance to focus on “why” people become nurses - to make a difference in the lives of others. This spot one in a series of videos that helped show the “why” as well as how Galen helps prepare you better than any other school for the real world of nursing.
Women’s Health
While most healthcare work features live action, during COVID, we needed to produce work but were unable to shoot in a hospital due to precautions. We decided to use animation to tell the story of one of our service lines in a compelling way. This spot won numerous awards and also drove an increase in new patients of 133%.
