The World’s Largest Day of the Dead Toast
el Jimador Tequila needed a way to get the word out about its authentic Mexican tequila brand during the Day of the Dead. To help breakthrough, I oversaw, scripted, and helped execute a video featuring 3D animation that also incorporated handmade miniaturized sets. The video served as the primary asset during the campaign to help promote our idea to create the World’s Largest Day of the Dead Toast.
This award-winning campaign was featured in Adweek and utilized social, influencers, email, video, and a FB Live event so people could participate in the World’s Largest Day of the Dead toast virtually. In addition, the campaign achieved a 27% increase in sales year over year and was the most successful Day of the Dead campaign for el Jimador Tequila in its history.

Crafting A Live Event for the Toast
The content, social, video and more culminated in a Facebook Live event where we got the record for the World’s Largest Day of the Dead Toast in Houston, TX. The live streaming event attracted over 30,000 viewers and helped drive record sales of el Jimador during the Day of the Dead time period.
